PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This kitchen renovation was part of a complete house make-over. The ceiling was removed and a mall addition went on the back. Foam insulation was used for maximum R-value and a quiet environment. Along with the new sliding doors the cathedral ceiling with 6 skylights creates the views and feel of a solarium. (But much more energy efficient). The 2 centre skylights are electrically opening (with rain sensors) so that with the fan, air conditioning is almost never necessary.
