The Problem

Our client had a huge 6ft x 9ft clear dome skylight over their family room.

Even though it faced north the heat build up during the summer was tremendous and made the space almost impossible to air conditioning.

The Solution

Changing the frame (curb) to an insulated frame (insulated super curb) and by changing the dome to energy efficient CleanComfortPlus glass from VELUX.

That way every exterior surface is upgraded for energy efficiency.
